I watched Vampire Diaries in English, but with subtitle.
Yesterday I had a tooth(-> Zahn?) operation and I only can eat soups  I'm sooo hungry... and I look like a hamster^^

In the last days I read a lot and now I nearly finished "Breakin Dawn"  It's so great <3
It's so much easier to understand written english, than writing own texts.

The "The Lord of the Rings" films are really great. At home I have the books in english and I' ll read them, when I finished 3 other books.
First I didn't want to see "Avatar", 'cause I don't like science fiction films. But after seeing it, it's my favourite film.
It's gripping, romantic, full of action and make people think about imperialism and environment.
I certainly would recommend this awesome film

Hey,
I am new here and just found this thread so I thought I leave a comment. It almost feels more natural to me to write in english since I am studying in America since 4 years. I am a student athlete here in the states, I study and play tennis. I have my own webpage if anyone is interested in finding out more about me: www.isabellraich.com

I found this club and I'm very happy to know that there are people outside who wanna talk english outside of school.
Since I left school my english is getting worse but I think it's still good enough to talk with you
I was very interested in english but i never got a chance to go to a english-speaking country because i never had the money therefor.

I am new here.
Can I join your club?
I am German but I grew up in the USA. Since 15 years I have not spoken english very much any more (well since I am back in good old germany) and slowly everything is getting lost.
So I would love to make conversation in my old mother language.
